MBFB is mostly one person doing all the drawing, painting, printing and screen burning from the basement of an old house in Portland, OR. There will be absolutely NO AI anywhere in my artwork, prints or design… I’d rather eat glass. Most of the typography is hand drawn as well, but I do use a few fonts that I have a license for in some of my works. Posters are usually a mix of hand painting and procreate.

I’m a casualty of the insanely widespread tech worker burnout and apocalypse. For years I had this weird and stupid idea to hand paint some of my favorite scenes from movies, video games, books and TV shows with tattoo flash inspired designs. When I lost my tech job in early 2026, I really ramped things up and started painting every day and finished some old work that was sitting in a drawer. This has spiraled to include linocut printing, screen printing and sticker designing.

I had a ~20 year old 4 color screen press just sitting around collecting dust, so I screwed that down to an old kitchen table, reclaimed a bunch of taco’d screens and started printing shirts and posters again.

I really appreciate you looking at my stuff. I have prints, shirts and stickers in the shop as well.
